Moët & Chandon at TIFF

The giving bottle.

The green room at Roy Thomson Hall at the Toronto International Film Festival continues to be a busy place. Moët & Chandon, the iconic champagne brand, is installed there, offering movie stars and all kinds of industry professionals a break from the hectic scene they are in the midst of. A glass of bubbles to celebrate a film’s screening is always a good thing.

The list of who’s who that came by is extensive and impressive. Jessica Chastain, Helen Mirren, Tom Hardy, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Naomi Watts, Jake Gyllenhaal, Donald Glover, Atom Egoyan, Matt Damon, and on and on. Stars signed a charity bottle of Moët, which will be donated to the Canadian Film Centre, and then auctioned off at the completion of the festival. It really is a bottle that will keep on giving, even after it is empty.
