Araxi’s Longtable Vancouver Debut

Dinner for many.

Pemberton, Whistler, Fraser Valley, and the Okanagan have played host to some of B.C.’s finest al fresco dinners. It was just a matter of time until these outstanding farm-to-table fetes would arrive in Vancouver. Araxi’s executive chef James Walt has been a producer of memorable meals staged at North Arm Farm in Pemberton and Lost Lake in Whistler. Lucky for local diners, Walt brought his talents and team to Vancouver’s Vanier Park for the largest longtable dinner to date. Set for 300, it was a meal to be remembered.

Joined by his Toptable Group counterparts Andrew Richardson from CinCin, Frank Pabst from Blue Water Cafe + Raw Bar, Quang Dang from West, and Thierry Busset from Thierry Chocolaterie Patisserie Cafe, guests enjoyed a four-course dinner featuring local ingredients picked at the peak of the season and paired with wines from Mission Hill Family Estate Winery. Presented against a spectacular oceanside setting, the menu featured Dungeness Crab Sausage, Stikine River Sockeye Salmon, and Okanagan Valley Beef. B.C. Rasberries brought the mega meal to a sweet finish.

All are welcome to join upcoming Longtable dinners in Pemberton and Whistler, August 16th and 30th respectively.
