Bulgari Save the Children Bracelet

Grand visions.

The 132-year-old house of Bulgari was founded as a jewellery shop in Rome in 1884. Under the leadership of creator and Greek silversmith Sotirio Georgis Bulgari, a design empire was created, and a grand vision realized. Rooted in the iconographies and ideologies of ancient Rome, but also incorporating contemporary flairs and what is now signature vibrancy, the brand’s influence in the high jewellery market has continued to spread. The Bulgari name is more than a name—it is an icon.

Should every child be so lucky as to dream as big as Sotirio.

Recognizing the many obstacles that stand in the way of underprivileged children even being able to imagine their goals, let alone realize them, Bulgari has partnered with child support and advocacy non-profit Save the Children since 2009. A special collection of pieces custom-designed by Bulgari was launched, for which a portion of sales goes directly to the organization. To date, the jewellery offering has helped raise $42 million USD for Save the Children, which was founded in 1919.

Launched last month is the third item in the line: a sterling silver and black ceramic bracelet. Bearing both the Bulgari and Save the Children names, the delicate charm bracelet was, like the ring and pendant before it, inspired by Bulgari’s celebrated B.zero1 collection. Simple and effective, it is sure to make the wearer feel excellent, both due to its beauty and its philanthropy. It is a piece to be shown off, to don while thinking big.
