Premium luggage brand Rimowa gives its Salsa Deluxe collection a delicious makeover with a new limited-edition release. Boasting a tough polycarbonate shell and telescopic handle for easy maneuvering, this emerald suitcase celebrates the boundless talents of master chocolatier Patrick Roger—who in turn unveils his latest sculpture, L’Homme qui voyage, at Rimowa’s flagship store in Paris. Fashioned from aluminum, the installation invokes feelings of lightness inspired by the freedom of travel. This exhibition, which runs until Feb. 15, 2018, also showcases a selection of Roger’s other work, including chocolate-scented stickers and a special-edition chocolate bar. From fine confection to modern art, the Rimowa collaboration proves that chocolate and travel fly smoothly together.
