A shoe made from pineapple? Boss is serving up something sweet and sturdy that benefits both wardrobe and planet. Boss Menswear’s new design is partially crafted from Piñatex: a natural-based material harvested and manufactured in the Philippines from pineapple leaf fibers. Sourced from innovative textile company Ananas Anam, the material is 100 per cent vegan; the subsequent Boss shoe is available in four naturally-dyed colours and features recycled thermoplastic soles and organic cotton laces. Being eco-friendly doesn’t mean you can’t dress like a boss.
