Haywire Winery is gaining a lot of attention, deservedly so, for some of its innovations, the trailblazing people on the team, and most of all, what’s in the bottle. One bright example, a sparkling wine called the Bub, is 50 per cent pinot noir and 50 per cent chardonnay, resulting in a pale straw colour and fine bead, really an exuberant, celebratory glass of wine for any occasion. $25.00, well worth it.
