“I was interested in capturing daily life in a way that reflects the people, the space, and the current phase of the pandemic we are living through. One of my favourite things about this city in the summer is gathering with friends and finding community spaces outdoors. In particular, I was looking to photograph moments of interpersonal connection that can happen anywhere, anytime, and that have been absent over the past year.”
