Goh Ballet Master Class Series

Give yourself to dance.

Chan Hon Goh, director of the Goh Ballet and former prima ballerina of the National Ballet of Canada, has completed the inaugural Canadian Master Class Series.

The tour took place through April 2014,  providing a rare opportunity for aspiring dancers ages 12 and up to have a dance experience with one of this generation’s most gifted and prolific artists. Chan Hon Goh explains: “This Master Class Series is a first for Goh Ballet and our aim is to inspire and mentor aspiring dancers across Canada to reach their goals and achieve their dreams.” Nine cities were hosted:  Toronto, Montreal, Winnipeg, Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatoon, Kelowna, and Nanaimo.

As we celebrate International Dance Day, there are plenty of reasons to celebrate Chan Hon Goh as well, given her unflagging commitment to education and furthering the aspirations, passion, and progress of young dancers all across this country.
