Any good Sabrina fan knows Givenchy built his empire on the back—or in this case the tiny waist—of Audrey Hepburn, and his 67-year-old brand has been trading in timeless, classic chic ever since. This year’s Red Line Holiday Collection features the Red Lights palette, a glitter-encrusted case in a quartet of eye colours; Prisme Libre, the maison’s mattifying powder, reimagined as No 10 Sparkling Mousseline; and Rouge Interdit, the iconic brand’s first red lipstick (created by Givenchy himself 30 years ago), studded here with mother-of-pearl for shimmer and shine.

Fenty Tinsel Collection

Rihanna’s LVMH-owned Fenty’s unapologetic march towards inclusive, diverse beauty is right on track with its holiday Tinsel Collection. The set includes a limited-edition mini version of the brand’s famed Stunna Lip Paint Longwear Fluid in Underdawg—a shade that looks good on everyone—as well as a mini version of the cult-fave body luminizer in Who Needs Clothes? Because we’re all beautiful in all colours, shapes and sizes.

Burberry Festive Collection

With the holiday party circuit just around the corner, Burberry arrives with its Festive Collection celebrating bold and festive red-and-green in a range of layerable looks. From dark-forest-green eye shadow pencils to Burberry Kisses’ Military Red lipstick, the whole set evokes a plaid-patterned holiday Nutcracker-like beauty fantasy.

For the limited-edition 2019 Rêve de Kimono Holiday Collection, Clé de Peau collaborated with master kimono-maker Kyoto Tachibana, renowned for his use of Surigata-Yuzen, a method of dying colours and stenciled motifs onto a single sheet of silk. Each separate package is inspired by tatou, a folded paper case designed for wrapping kimonos, and echoes the folds and layers of the kimono itself.

Dior Happy 2020

Christian Dior Beauty’s creative director Peter Philips draws inspiration from the dazzle and pop of fireworks to create the Happy 2020 makeup collection. Gold shimmers and glitter glow alongside fuchsia pinks, greens and yellows to lend either a pop-art appeal in primary colours or a classic smoky-eye suggestiveness in gilt.
