The Vancouver Writers Fest is opening up its 30-year archive on Sunday, June 2, for a Book Sale Spectacular featuring hardcover and paperback copies of local and international bestsellers and award-winning titles. Give yourself plenty of time to browse as most books are priced at a very affordable $5 (or five for $20), with signed copies and first editions—including works by Douglas Coupland, Eden Robinson, Rawi Hage, and Eric Walters—at just $10.
To keep you there for the long (and inevitable heavy) haul, there will be wine, beer, and non-alcoholic refreshments available, as well as face painting for the younger readers in your life.
