A building boom erupted when Vancouver was awarded the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, changing the city’s skyline and architectural landscape. The facilities are a lasting monument of the 2010 Olympics; four years later, these buildings, including the Vancouver Convention Centre, Athletes Village, and Hillcrest Community Centre still contribute to community spirit, sports, and culture.
