Sometimes a partnership makes so much sense that the question becomes: how did it take this long?
Such is the case with Scuderia Ferrari and Bianchi, two Italian manufacturers at the top of their respective industries. The outcome? Bianchi for Scuderia Ferrari: a road bike and a racing bike, each sure to excel at the highest levels, both in terms of aesthetics and functionality.
Premiered at Eurobike in Germany in August 2017, the two models represent a new understanding of luxury bike-making. There is the SF01 carbon road bike, which weighs just 780 grams for maximum aerodynamics. There are two colour and graphic schemes to choose from for the bike’s frame, and each one individually hand-painted in Italy.
Then there is the Triathlon Concept, which is inspired by Scuderia Ferrari’s impressive Formula 1 fleet. This bike boasts an integrated disc brake system that helps with speed and control. Both models feature special technology that cancels 80 percent of vibrations, and all of the wheels come from Italy’s Fulcrum. The coming together of so many great Italian brands—that’s something to ride home about.
