Vancouver veteran Herschel Supply Co. continues its plan for world backpack domination with its recently renovated Railtown office. Expanding into a space just two floors down from its original dwellings, Herschel’s new digs are an impressive 11,000 square-feet—able to host the 15 per cent growth of staff the company reached in October.
Utilizing an open concept layout, the office provides an array of meet-up and wind-down spaces throughout, including a kitchen with an impressive amount of honey and ketchup. More rooms are accented with warm blush pink and violet Bocci lights, making a statement about the company’s commitment to good design. That theme is carried through to the prototype workshop, with a rainbow mosaic of thread spools used to mock up Herschel’s expansive accessories line.
Rumour has it (although Herschel will neither confirm nor deny), Kanye West recently made his rounds through the office; undoubtedly even The Critic himself was impressed.
