Palo Alto Reserva I

The wine.

The Palo Alto Reserva I red wine is a nice, structured blend, of mainly cabernet sauvignon (50%), with carmenère (30%) and a little shiraz (20%). It showcases a nice, spicy fruit, and could actually benefit from decanting for a couple of hours. From Chile’s Maule Valley, this is a contender for your house wine for the barbecue season. $15.
