Radici Taurasi Mastroberardino

The wine.

This week, a marvelous mouthful. The Radici Taurasi Mastroberardino; call it Radici for short.  This wine, from the Campania region of Italy, is 100 per cent aglianico grapes, a powerful, complex red wine suitable for the finest of dinner occasions, or to spoil your significant other with sitting under the cherry blossoms in the spring rain. There is not a lot of this wine available in B.C., so you may have to check around for it. At $55, it rivals many bottles costing much more.
