Summerhill Pyramid Winery Cipes

The wine.

Sitting with Ezra Cipes, overlooking estate vineyards and, in the moderate distance, Okanagan Lake, is always a pleasant and interesting time. Sitting with a glass of the Summerhill Pyramid Winery’s sparkling wine, each of them named Cipes, just makes it even better. In this case, it is the Ariel, vintage 1998 ($85), a splendid wine and comfortable on any international stage, where in fact, the wine has won many awards. But please do try the elegant Blanc de Noirs ($35), the Rose ($26), and the Brut N/V (also $26). You will likely be surprised in a very good way at the elegance and quality of these wines, making them, actually, bargains to be sought out.
