Umbra Shift’s Cascade Wool Blanket, designed by local Vancouver graphic art studio Post Projects, draws inspiration from the craggy and majestic terrain of Western Canada’s Northern Cascade mountains. Available in a yellow and grey print as well as a different pattern in navy blue, the blankets are made in Portland, OR by the iconic Pendleton Woolen Mills and adhere to the overarching mandate of the Umbra brand’s Umbra Shift offshoot: rethinking familiar designs. No better way to curl up and spend an evening feeling humbled, pondering what lies in store for the future, and taking in the west’s vast ranges.
