Alia Sunderji’s Luv the Grub makes supporting the diverse local community taste so good. Each jar of chutney and spread created by the Vancouver social business tackles food waste by being made with produce seconds (fruits and vegetables that don’t make it to the grocery store because of their bumps, bruises, or shapes); it also partners with Frog Hollow Neighbourhood House’s Drive Youth Employment Services to offer a paid employment training program for newcomer refugees and immigrants. Luv the Grub celebrates fresh starts in the most beautifully delicious way.
