Our Spring 2022 Fashion Shoot Inside Vancouver’s Historic Neoclassical Bank Building

In 1907 the BC Permanent & Loan Company opened its doors for the first time. The neoclassical building with stained glass atrium, bronze chandeliers, and mosaic tile was bought in 1935 by the Bank of Canada, which added a vault that remains to this day in the grand hall. In recent years, the landmark heritage building has been lovingly restored and returned to the community as The Permanent, an homage to its origins.

It is here that our team collaborated under the watchful eye of our art director to create the Blue Monday Spring 2022 fashion shoot with model Krow Kian. The location and blue hue hint at a retro vibe, buoyed by looks from Alexander McQueen and other designers. This season is a marriage of past and present, projected on a slice of Vancouver history.
