Over four years went into the development of the Dyson Supersonic, which not only boasts a beautiful design (partly thanks to the motor being in the handle instead of the head), but also has the engineering chops to match. Air temperature is measured every 20 seconds, ensuring it never gets too hot, and 41 litres of air are filtered through it per second, resulting in a quicker dry.
