The moon’s power is immense and strong; its gravitational pull literally controls our ocean’s tides, its cycle is deeply rooted in many cultures, and its very appearance can feel at once humbling and empowering. And, thanks to a new partnership between Italy’s Habits Studio and Japan’s \Quantum, howlers at the moon can experience its mystical waxing and waning in their own homes. The Another Moon lamp, which debuted at Salone del Mobile 2016 in Milan, follows our moon’s real-time phases by synchronizing with internet data. The radiant orb lights up differently each night, giving any room in the house a peaceful, sequential rhythm.
