Our Winter 2020 Fashion Shoot Takes Us Off Balance

In a deliberately awkward, gracefully out-of-balance reflection of our times, dancers Maiko Miyauchi and Eric Cheung, from Vancouver’s Ouro Collective, assume contorted positions that play with our perspective in this year’s winter fashion shoot.

Now in its seventh season, Ouro was co-founded by Miyauchi to support and celebrate street dance artists and culture, fusing hip-hop, waacking, breaking, popping, and contemporary dance. Here, the dancers embody our sense of the off-balance to showcase some of the season’s most stylish looks.
