Beth Richards

Summer style.

In just two years, Beth Richards has become synonymous with sophisticated, modern swimwear made with cool, decidedly grown-up women in mind. With over a decade in the fashion industry under her belt, Richards debuted the first collection for her eponymous line in 2012 after moving to the West Coast from her native Toronto and having trouble finding a bathing suit that matched her style and needs. It took barely a breath before her bombshell high-waist cuts and monochrome athletic bodysuits were scooped up by luxury retailer Net-a-Porter. Designed to be worn on the beach and on the street, each piece is made in Canada with high-quality performance knits from Italy that boast 50+ UV-protection.

Richards has expanded her reach for spring/summer 2014 by adding the versatile League Dress and Breezy Tee to the mix, inspired by carnival T-shirts from her childhood summers. Plus, for the first time, she offers up her take on the classic triangle bikini that feels somehow even more sleek and minimalist than the original. Soft mint and poppy red add a punch to a signature black and white palette.

With this woman on our side, we can finally keep it chic on the beach.
