Hennessy X.O x Kim Jones Collab
Fashion designer Kim Jones is no stranger to Herculean challenges. The former style director of Louis Vuitton menswear, now the creative director of Dior Homme, also happens to be the artistic director of Fendi’s women’s collection (not to mention a stylist and art director for various magazines in his spare time). This month, he turns his attention to Hennessy, maker of one of the world’s most prestigious cognacs, for a gorgeous limited-edition collaboration featuring an X.O Masterpiece “couture” decanter, a “ready-to-wear” bottle of X.O, and a collectible HNY low sneaker.
Louis Vuitton Tambour Fiery Heart Watch
The first in-house self-winding automatic movement from Louis Vuitton, the Tambour Fiery Heart Automata showcases haute horology with seven graceful dial animations, 65 hours of power reserve, 28,800 oscillations per hour, and 67 jewels, all housed in an 18K pink-gold case with grand feu enamel.
Balmain Hair Couture Homme Line
Hair loss in men is a natural process ushered in by genetics and hormones, but Balmain’s recently launched Care Collection aims to stem the damage. The range targets thinning hair by increasing scalp circulation, stimulating hair growth, and increasing the diameter of the hair itself. The products are suitable for all hair types and are free of parabens, silicons, and sodium lauryl sulfate.
Epic Pass
To celebrate its 60th anniversary this year, Vail Mountain collaborated with Los Angeles–based aerial photographer Gray Malin on a collection of photos that capture the beauty of the iconic ski resort. Vail Resorts, Whistler Blackcomb’s parent company, also just announced a mobile version of its 2023/24 Epic Pass, which will grant access not only to Vail but also to countless other ski resorts. In our own backyard, Whistler Mountain’s four-person Fitzsimmons Express chairlift will soon be upgraded to a high-speed eight-person chair.
Guerlain Terracotta Foundation
We’re sure the sun is due to arrive soon, but in the meantime, there’s Guerlain’s new Terracotta Le Teint foundation. Guerlain, the O.G. maker of the bronzing-powder compact (circa 1984), now offers a liquid-foundation version made with 95 per cent naturally derived ingredients—this is the brand, after all, that ships its products around the world primarily by boat, to keep its carbon footprint down. The lightness of a powder combined with the precision of a foundation provides a healthy 24-hour no-transfer glow, even when the sun won’t.
Purdys Chocolatier Vegan Chocolates
In 1907, Richard Carmon Purdy opened a tiny chocolate shop on Vancouver’s bustling Robson Street. More than a century later, Purdys Chocolatier now operates out of a 57,000-square-foot factory in East Vancouver and sells its confections across Canada. The local darling’s wildly popular vegan line is hatching in Easter baskets everywhere this season.
