Reworked Artisan Pieces, Natural Canadian Skin and Body Care, and Shapeshifting Necklaces Are on MONTECRISTO’s November Wishlist

Hermès

From November 4 to November 29, Hermès presents Petit h in Vancouver, where playful creativity reigns supreme as unused Hermès materials are reimagined by artisans, artists, and designers.

Petit h first begins in Pantin, on the outskirts of Paris, in the brand’s excess materials store. Offcuts and ends no longer required—from silk and leather pieces to fabric remnants, porcelain, crystal, metal, and more—arrive from the house’s different métiers. Artists and artisans then touch, unfold, reexamine, and reimagine, daring to create unconventional connections and pairings so that every last fragment is transformed into a bold new gem.

Arising from the marriage of crystal-making and leather-goods métiers, a carafe might appear with a crystal topper and leather handles from a Kelly bag, or a fully playable electric guitar might be wrought from a saddle tree originally destined as a saddle seat. By reinventing everyday objects, playfulness and sustainability go hand-in-hand.

Three Ships Beauty

A Three Ships bottle of Jelly Drops on a beach towel - November wishlist.

Skin-care brand Three Ships Beauty’s focus on natural, plant-derived ingredients and radical transparency means this Canadian-based Certified B Corporation’s products are free from common additives and delivered in a simple way.

Launched October 23, the limited-edition Next-Level Natural: Deluxe Mini Sampler Collection features all-natural, dermatologist-tested formulas such as Jelly Drops, a jelly-like hyaluronic acid serum to brighten skin, and the Superfruit Lactic + Multifruit 8% AHA exfoliating mask. Helpful sample sizes mean you can test run all the brand’s bestsellers beforehand.

Saje Wellness

A Beauty product advent calendar - November wishlist

This holiday, frenzy and frazzle are kept at bay with Vancouver-based Saje’s Wellness Advent Calendar. Designed to relieve, restore, and recharge with 12 days of self-care and sensory countdown, each drawer contains a plant-based surprise such as the Liquid Sunshine diffuser blend (notes of grapefruit, bergamot, and lime to beat back the dark days of winter) and the centring Deep Breath nasal inhaler (a blend of essential oils from eucalyptus, marjoram, and peppermint).

Van Cleef & Arpels

Launched in 1968, Van Cleef & Arpels’s Alhambra collection first featured a long gold necklace with 20 four-leaf clovers made of creased yellow gold. Named after the Alhambra Palace in Spain, the iconic line has since evolved to include different sizes, materials, and colours, but it has always symbolized good luck.

This year, the celebrated jeweller introduces Magic Alhambra: two new long necklaces that can be detached to form a necklace and a bracelet, as well as two new reversible rings that reveal a different surface on each side.

Sangre de Fruta

A still life with soaps.

Bowen Island’s apothecary-style Sangre de Fruta Botanicals celebrates its 10-year anniversary this month with the launch of its limited-edition Botanical Bar Soaps Three Sirens Set. The British Columbia darling of luxury organic hair and skin-care products partnered with British artist Tabby Booth to offer three deluxe soaps in festive packaging just in time for holiday gift-giving.
