Ramin Mahjouri

Colour, silence, love.

Ramin Mahjouri is a publisher, broadcaster, producer, and journalist. He is also a poet and, now, an artist, with an amazing series of works that, as he says, “seemed to come out of the air. I was not expecting anything from it, but once I began, it took on a force of its own.”  The Farsi script is most often pertaining to epic poetry, from Rumi and Siavash Kasrai, among others. Some of the symbolism we have come to recognize as iconic Persian, and can also be found in the sculptures of Parviz Tanavoli, featured in MONTECRISTO. We are happy to share just a few of Mahjouri’s pieces here as well.
