Painted Rock Winery Tasting Room

Banquets, bottles, and more.

The Okanagan Valley just keeps evolving, in terms of its wines, certainly, but also, as Painted Rock Winery proprietor John Skinner says, “the stratas of support that come with good wine: the restaurants, the accommodations, the event facilities.” And to that tune we add another grace note, which is Mr. Skinner’s brand new tasting room, banquet and event facility. It is a splendid piece of architecture, nestled discreetly near the pinnacle of a gently sloping hill overlooking vineyards and Skaha Lake far below. “I would often be the last person out, in the evening, and as I locked the front gate, I would look out at the view, and think, ‘this is one of the most beautiful views in the world’.” He’s right, of course, and so he decided to take the necessary steps and investment, and now that view is part and parcel of the new facilities. Weddings, banquets, private or corporate events, it all tastes a little sweeter in such a place as this.
