The Rolls-Royce Wraith seems to have it all. Great looks, awe-inspiring automotive technology, luxury at every angle. But the company has taken it another step further by designing a bespoke luggage collection that will form an ideal accompaniment to this amazing car.
The collection was conceived by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars bespoke designer Michael Bryden. He and his team consulted with travel and hospitality veterans the world over, including concierges and head butlers in some of the world’s most prestigious hotels, in order to determine what would make this collection the ultimate in comfort and utility, as well as a beacon of fine design. Thus we have: two Grand Tourer valises, three Long Weekender bags, and one Garment Carrier. The pieces are specifically designed to conform exactly to the storage contours of the Wraith.
Carbon fibre, aerospace-calibre aluminum, invisible stitching, ultra-fine leathers, the entire ensemble hand-stitched—all part of the elegant equation. Even the wheels are a complete re-thinking, an entirely new apparatus that is self-centering, and on a wide track. Transfer from ground to vehicle is seamless. As with the car itself, the collection, which is available for order through Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Vancouver, is truly bespoke; each individual owner can specify colours, including mono- and duo-tone options. The pieces can be purchased individually, though that almost seems beside the point. After all, they fit so well together.
