It’s important for me to include all varieties of people in my photography. Too often there are huge inclusivity gaps in media and art, and I do my best to break the idea that there is one type of person who deserves to be seen. For Transgender Day of Remembrance, which occurs every year on Nov. 20, I wanted to make beautiful portraits of my trans friends so they could be seen and heard.
