Perdera and Feudi di San Gregorio

The wines.

Two wines for the holiday dining season, each of which is sure to please. The textured, fruit-driven Feudi di San Gregorio Falanghina, from the Campania region of Italy, a white of unusual power and finesse, ideal to sip as an aperitif, with any number of finger foods, or with main courses, $15.  The Argiolas Perdera, from Sardena, part of a terrific family of reds (and a single white), is food-friendly, but you’ll likely want a second bottle just to sip on through the cheeses and conversation as the clock strikes midnight, $23.
