Urban Cultivator is a manufacturer of kitchen appliances that create wholly sustainable ideal indoor growing conditions for micro-greens, herbs, and vegetables. Harvested later than sprouts, but smaller than what we know as baby greens, up to now these tiny crops were used primarily in fine dining restaurants. But Urban Cultivator makes it possible for anyone to grow their own, at home. The company has also opened a retail space, in Yaletown, called Living Produce Aisle. There, you can purchase your own little flats of select micro-greens, including radish and arugula, as well as smoothies and salads made with greens grown on site.
