Furniture and Fashion Collaborations, Elegant Timepieces, and Louis Vuitton Feature on MONTECRISTO’s Autumn Wishlist

Hem x Kusheda Mensah

The Swedish home furnishings company Hem collaborates with many different European designers, artists, and manufacturers to create its meticulously considered collections. The latest—the Palma Pouf—is from British-born Ghanaian designer Kusheda Mensah and features graphic mix-and-match seating that comes in three playful shapes and sizes to encourage social interaction. Offered in a variety of colours and fabrics, these fun and functional pieces are perfect for pulling up and perching, while adding a vibrant touch of whimsy to your home.

Dior x Lewis Hamilton

A man stands in a colourful tracksuit.

Seven-time Formula One racing champion and Dior ambassador Lewis Hamilton has collaborated with the French fashion house as a guest designer for a second capsule wardrobe. Blending formality and casual comfort, with items ranging from luxurious knits to practical sportswear such as the stylish B44 Blade sneaker, Hamilton channels afrofuturism to create a collection that is at once traditional and avant-garde.

Blancpain

A silver Blancpain wristwatch, part of our autumn wishlist.

A timepiece designed as a tool watch for serious divers is given a lifestyle makeover. Features of the new Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Tech diving watch include a case diameter of 45 millimetres, a helium escape valve, and a black dial that absorbs up to 97 per cent of light. For ease of operation with gloved hands, there is also a unidirectional ceramic bezel with 120 clicks, and the interchangeable rubber straps come in two lengths—for sizing with and without a wetsuit. For even more versatility, vivid white and bright orange strap options have been added to the traditional black.

Louis Vuitton

Lipstick and a makeup kit - fall wishlist.

Venturing into the world of cosmetics, Louis Vuitton has made its intention to become a major player in the beauty space clear by appointing a British makeup artist widely considered one of the world’s most influential practitioners to lead the métier. As cosmetics creative director, Dame Pat McGrath may have a completely new brand to build at La Beauté Louis Vuitton, but she has 100 years of the maison’s history and expertise in travel—including vanity cases, compacts, and perfume bottles—in support. No surprise, then, that her inaugural range of 55 lipstick shades plus eight eyeshadow palettes all come in signature LV Monogram packaging.
