myfaceworks

Work it.

Every face craves something, be it deep moisture, gentle repair, or a good detoxification. Vancouver-based company myfaceworks wants to give yours a pampering with their convenient, facial sheet masks—damp, paper-like face-shaped cut-outs, loaded with replenishing ingredients. Launched in early 2010, myfaceworks founder Angela Leung wanted to bring the beauty of sheet masks—popular in places like China, Taiwan, and Singapore—to a North American audience. And we’re glad she did. Unlike mud masks, there is zero mess involved, and individual mask packets can be easily stored in bathroom cupboards or tucked into toiletry bags for D.I.Y. facials while on the road. Myfaceworks matches all their masks with a mood, like I Need to Wake Up, a peppy orange-scented vitamin C mask, or I Need to Detox, a refreshing green tea mask. Limited edition starter kits include six different mask types—a good way to find your perfect fit. And once you do, it will only be minutes before you are putting your best face forward.
