In an increasingly digital and mobile world, there’s something to be said for devices that balance function and aesthetic. French luxury house Louis Vuitton makes its first foray into the audio market with a collection of wireless headphones, available at the end of January 2019. Developed by New York-based audio company Master & Dynamic, which is used widely throughout the creative community, these Bluetooth-enabled earbuds are designed to fit snugly inside the ear and feature Louis Vuitton’s iconic logo and monogram in four colourways: red, black, white, and stripes of blue and yellow. When not in use, the headphones can be stored and charged for a maximum of 10 hours’ battery life inside a sleek circular case.
And in other news, the Louis Vuitton Men’s Spring/Summer 2019 Collection—the first by men’s creative director Virgil Abloh of Off-White—drops at Holt Renfrew Vancouver on Jan. 18. The highly anticipated offering is only available at select stores in North America, and Vancouver is the only Canadian location to get the early launch.
Indeed, it is an exciting time for Louis Vuitton and for innovation in luxury.
