Caviar, Candles, and Advent Calendars: MONTECRISTO’s Holiday Wishlist

Obakki Woven Tree

This year Obakki, a purpose-led lifestyle brand based in Vancouver, has partnered with Mexican weavers to reimagine the traditional holiday tree. Handmade by a collective of female artisans in Querétaro, the 200-centimetre-tall woven tree preserves ancient weaving techniques while also respecting the environment, using raw cotton yarns along with fibres from the indigenous Sansevieria plant. And on Thursdays until December 14, you can shop for gifts at Obakki’s Holiday Market pop-up.

Tiffany Crest Collection

For the new Tiffany Crest collection of tableware, artistic director Lauren Santo Domingo mined the iconic brand’s vault for motifs. The inaugural collection—including a dinner plate and a dessert plate, as well as a teapot and teacups—pays tribute to the heritage jeweller’s craftsmanship, artistry, and history with a coat of arms featuring Jean Schlumberger’s Bird on a Rock perched atop the crest.

Riversol Advent Calendar

Riversol’s luxury skin-care advent calendar will keep faces fresh during the holiday frenzy. Each limited-edition 12-day calendar includes a mix of full-size and travel-size skin-care treats, as well as a new lip treatment and a bath soak (a collaboration with Midnight Paloma). Ingredients such as vitamin C, vitamin E, and Beta-T—an antioxidant sourced from the Pacific red cedar tree—help to deliver medical-grade results.

Bowmore Timeless Series Scotch

Thanks to a combination of sherry-seasoned European oak casks and ex-bourbon American oak barrels, the latest limited-edition release in Bowmore’s Timeless Series features hints of sherry-soaked raisins, cocoa, bitter orange, cherry blossom, and licorice, all set against contrasting notes of peat and sea salt. Inspired by an hourglass shape, the distinctive box includes a premium 53.7 per cent cask-strength single-malt whisky and a grain-filled hourglass that counts down three minutes—the perfect amount of time to properly savour the balanced aromas of this decades-in-the-making masterpiece.

Burberry Highgrove Scarf Collection

Crafted in organic silk and finished with hand-rolled edges, Burberry’s limited-edition Highgrove scarves celebrate the gardens at the private residence of King Charles III. Named after the seasons, each of the four scarves was illustrated by British artist Sammi Lynch, a recent graduate of the Royal Drawing School.

Begüm Khan x Guerlain Bee Bottle Fragrance

In 1853, Guerlain’s founder, Pierre-François-Pascal Guerlain, gifted the company’s first Eau de Cologne Impérial Bee Bottle as a wedding present to Empress Eugénie de Montijo and Emperor Napoléon III. The hand-gilded flacon was engraved with the emperor’s coat of arms and flecked with bees—the emblem of the French empire—and it has gone on to become one of the brand’s most enduring symbols, celebrating both craftsmanship and precious ingredients.

This season, east and west join when Guerlain partners with Turkish jeweller Begüm Khan to create a limited-edition Bee Bottle that celebrates the iconic fragrance’s 170th anniversary. The bottle, still made to this day by glassmaker Pochet du Courval, features a jewelled bee hand-painted in 24-karat gold and hand-set with 37 sparkling pavé gems.
