Christopher Gaze can wax profound, with Falstaffian vigour, on the subject of wine, both on stage and off. Just ask his good friend Howard Soon, from Sandhill winery. And now, Gaze’s theatrical company, Bard on the Beach, will be the recipient and partner of the Vancouver International Wine Festival, which runs from February 25 until March 3, 2013. As it enters its 35th year, the festival has become one of the world’s premier wine events. This year, the theme is California, and there will never be a better time and place to learn, explore, taste the best the wine world has to offer.
