With a close proximity to a world-class wine region, a number of Vancouver restaurants are partnering with Okanagan and Similkameen wineries to develop branded house wines. It’s a marriage of terrior, cusine, and culture, all from the West Coast.
Among those influenced by an in-depth scientific approach to cooking are two of Vancouver’s brightest culinary stars, chefs David Gunawan and Quang Dang. Both emerged from beginnings in civil engineering to put their uniquely analytical stamp on West Coast cuisine.
