Whistler’s Cornucopia

A food and wine learning experience.

Expanded to a full 10 days this year, Whistler’s Cornucopia festival makes it easy to learn, experience, indulge, imbibe. Did we mention learn? On opening day, the new Nourish Series seminar kicks off with “Fish and Forest from First Nations” at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler. Learn how First Nations have been using the land for sustainable nourishment for centuries.  Later, the Best of BC House Party at the Whistler Conference Centre gets things rolling, vigorously. Many other seminars, some spectacular wine dinners, and plenty of tasting opportunities make it all worth attending. Leading wine experts will lend their insights and expertise, and chefs will show how local and organic are not simply buzz words, but calls to action.  The festival runs from November 7 to 17.
